The Greenville Humane Society is seeking a kind, compassionate, efficient Chief Medical Director for our nationally recognized limited admission shelter located in Greenville, SC.

We are a well-respected 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a high-volume public spay/neuter clinic and a low-cost and efficient public vaccine clinic. Our one-of-a-kind Healing Place allows us to treat the most vulnerable shelter animals prior to their adoption. We intake approximately 5,000 shelter animals per year.

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals that practice excellent medicine, surgical, communication, and customer service skills to become a part of the Greenville Humane Society family. Is this you? We sure hope so!

Key Job Components:

• Flexible schedule and pay up to $208K annually; based on experience and proficiency.
• Must work well as a team member; previous shelter experience skills are a plus.
• Limited contact with the public.
• Two to three hundred dogs/cats in-house daily and cared for until adoption by skilled and competent support staff.
• Work Schedule: 4 - 5 days per week. Flexible work schedule and on-call weekends on a rotating basis.
