Mixed Animal Practice seeking DVM
Privately owned quickly growing mixed animal practice in Thomson (McDuffie County), Georgia seeking DVMs.
We are located near I-20, approximately 20 miles from Augusta, GA, in a rapidly growing McDuffie County. We are a short distance from the Augusta Nationals as well as the lake, a couple hour drive to the mountains, Atlanta, and beach. Right in the heart of Georgia!
We are a small, large, and exotic practice that is both walk in and schedule appointments and we offer grooming and boarding services. We currently have 6 vets and 30 staff members who all strive to provide excellent care to all of our patients big and small! We are extremely staff focused and work hard to celebrate and support all of our staff!
We welcome new graduates or experienced veterinarians and feel we provide an excellent place to grow as a vet through rich mentorship and a collaborative mentality. Although the clinic setting may seem predominately small animal, we see a lot of different species on any given day, to including dogs and cats, but also chickens, farm animals, exotic and even an occasional kangaroo, and even travel to various farms with our 3 mobile equipped trucks. Although we don’t expect you to be experienced in all, we are happy to teach along the way if interested! We have a family atmosphere where we want our patients and our staff to feel welcome. We are currently building a new clinic that will enhance our ability to care for our patients and provide much needed space for our staff. The clinic should be ready in the fall of 2026 and will have 12 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites and much needed space! In our practice, we provide walk-in and appointment based care Monday – Friday and we split emergency calls among multiple veterinarians.
