Kind Care Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit, highly tenured team. Established in 1996, we are a privately owned, multi-doctor small animal practice with a long-standing reputation built on meaningful relationships—both within our hospital and throughout our community.

Who We Are
We are a small animal practice with a positive, team-focused culture and exceptional doctor retention, with 100% of our doctors having been with us for five or more years. Our strong and experienced support team maintains a 2 technician/assistant to 1 DVM ratio, and 60% of our support staff have been employed with us for over five years as well. We utilize modern, efficient, paper-lite systems, including web-based practice management software, AI-assisted medical record transcribing, IDEXX in-house and reference laboratory services, digital full-body and dental radiography, ultrasound, and a Companion Laser. Most importantly, we are a workplace that genuinely enjoys working together, with frequent team outings, fun in-office games, and a collaborative, supportive environment.

Who We're Looking For
New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a veterinarian who practices high-quality, compassionate medicine, enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, and communicates clearly while working well within a team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining thorough yet efficient medical records and is interested in supporting and mentoring staff as part of a collaborative practice.

Requirements & Expectations
• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of South Carolina
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based medicine
• Willingness to collaborate with doctors and support staff
• Ability to manage a full appointment schedule with efficiency and care
• Professional, kind, and respectful communication with clients and team members
