Tidewater Veterinary is searching for an enthusiastic Veterinary Technician who is ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.
What You'll Do
- Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures
- Collect samples, run diagnostics, and help solve medical mysteries
- Comfort nervous pets (and occasionally nervous humans)
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Educate pet owners on keeping their furry family members healthy
- Accept unlimited gratitude from puppies, kittens, and their humans
What We're Looking For
- Veterinary Technician experience, license preferred but not required
- A passion for animal care and client service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Team player mentality with a positive attitude
- Talent for finding hidden tennis balls under exam tables is a bonus
- Ability to work a rotating Saturday schedule
